I sat to long and I lost out
I just found out that the FLOGGING MOLLY and STREET DOGS show in Clevo is sold out for March 4th.
This sucks. I wanted to go.

BUY IT NOW $150.00 no way.
I will watch the others.
Man I wish I didn't sleep on this one. I really wanted to see them. Both bands. It would be a first for me.

Flogging Molly puts on an awesome show. Street Dogs is OK, but you shouldn't be too upset about missing them. And really, that show is good, but not
so fucking awesome or once-in-a-lifetime that you should be upset about missing it.
(Now the Stormwatch reunion / Condemned 84-in-the-US shows, those two are a one-(or two)-time opportunity... though, honestly, Flogging Molly has more
talent than both combined, even if I'd pay more for the former.)

Street Dogs are only OK and then you gush over worthless closet nazis like Condemned 84? Politics aside, Condemned 84 is the most overrated and
generic Oi band on the list and as much as I love Oi, there's a LOT of generic bands in the genre.

hahaha. First of all, I admit Flogging Molly is more talented than both C-84 and Stormwatch (by the way, aren't Stormwatch also rumored to be closet
Nazis? I've heard that rumor before.)
I've seen Flogging Molly and Street Dogs live. I think Flogging Molly puts on an awesome, amazing show, and I'm glad I've seen it. Street Dogs put
on a good show and have put out some good CDs, but I wouldn't label them as amazing. I listen to them. I like them. I'm sorry the show where I live
sold out before I bought tickets. After I found out about the show here (and then found out immediately that it was sold out), I wasn't too upset...
would've liked to have gone, but oh well.
Also, I didn't gush over C-84 or Stormwatch. I said it was a once- or twice-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Unless you live in Europe or are really old
and saw them play in the US in the late 1980's, my statement is true. You don't have to like them to acknowledge that they don't play in the US, so
the opportunity to see them is very rare (at best). The closet Nazi thing came up because of the Beer Olympics a few years ago, when they were
supposed to play but didn't... and in all fairness, I'm still not sure if it was Mark Noah or C-84 telling the truth. (I'd like to believe Mark Noah,
but really, neither side has any credible evidence.)
Two final comments... (1) I think Last Resort is way more over-rated than C-84. Granted, C-84 is over-rated without a doubt, but definitely not more
than many other shitty bands in the oi genre (yeah, much as I love it, many of the bands have no fucking talent). (2) I mentioned the C-84 shows
mostly because I was surpised to check out the board tonight and see posts about Tattooed Motherfuckers and Made in England... more skinhead
references in one night than I've seen in a long time on the Thorp boards.
Damn, I must be bored to type this much.

I've caught Street Dogs a few times and have been impressed by Mike's stage presence every time. He's even more of a showman now than he was with
Dropkick Murphys back in the day. As for Stormwatch, I didn't mention them because they really aren't worth mentioning. Condemned 84 annoy the fuck
out of me because they have the single most stereotypical sound in the genre and yet people constantly call them "classic". As for the nazi deal, I
think the fact that they play WP fests and notoriously nazi clubs says it all.
Last Resort may be slightly overrated as well, but they did put out some true classic Oi songs way back when. And as I shouldn't need to point out,
what difference does it make if a shit band only plays two shows in the country? They could play one show in the world and it still wouldn't be worth
going to if it was in my backyard.

&^^^^^^^^^^^^ I had no idea either. I didn't want to charge it so I thought I'd wait for some cash to purchase my tickets.

Ah fuck it, I ain't got the time or money for shows anymore... I'm missing the Madball/All Out War show this weekend too, I gotta meet up with my
friend's ex-wife to celebrate their son's 7th birthday. I love that kid.
