Hoods
They have 2 new songs on their myspace from the new album due out in April. First one is classic Hoods, heavy, mad as hell and pure violence. The
second is a party anthem, sounds really different, but a nice change.
Go listen if you like the hoods, if not, well then don't.

I'm partial to the early demos when they were sxe...not really a fan of the newer metallier stuff.
Still solid for what it is though.

Pray for Death is good time. Their live shows are a fucking blast. They're playing up here tomorrow with Furious Styles and a bunch of other bands.

good band. TIME THE DESTROYER is way rad.
Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

I flew to sacto to play bass with hoods about 6 years ago...
I stayed with mike up there and they have one of the tightest scenes I think I have ever seen.
they had like 200 kids out just for a local show and the hoods were not even playing.
I turned down playing with them full time I wanted to stay close to my daughter and this was only like A year after her mom and I split. I also
couldn't see myself being a 13 year old for the rest of my life.
but I still support them as much as possible and that party song is the best thing they have written in a long time.

I listen to the hoods almost daily. I loved the last two albums. I can't wait for Ghetto Blaster.

I was at the Sworn Enemy show last night. They killed it you can tell that band really likes what they do. As for the concert in general, well Toronto
has always been a rather pussy assed scene.

True. Although I'm glad the thug vibe has never been too heavy here since I hate that shit. At the same time, there's way too many whiney bitches in
Toronto.
