Feeling like the not so great #33 Larry Bird

Tomorrows my birthday and Im gonna be 33. I know thats kind of middle ground on this board because some are younger and some are older, but I feel like its old! Im having one of those 'what have I acomplished in these 33 years' kind of days.... Oh well... Its just a number I guess.

exactly.
i rarely think about my age.
more often than not, i have to stop and think when someone asks how old i am.
it's awesome.

I don't think about it but I feel it sometimes
when the knees hurt
or I look at my almost 12 year old daughter
or when I go damn I could still form a really good band and do something more with my life

I'm 35 and I haven't even hit my prime. And what's accomplishment really? How you slave your day away, or how much money your making while you're doing it? Fuck that. Take care of your family and friends, do what makes you happy, everything else is just window dressing.

Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

I still feel like Im 22 and fresh outta college, but I think that's because Ive been at the same job for 5 years. I finally got to applying for Grad school and it finally hit me that Im 27. I was like "where the fuck did those 5 years go?"

^^^^^^^^^^^^ BINGO! Me too, but I attribute that to old age as well. :P

I'm 30 but that doesn't really make me feel old.

My broken down body makes me feel old.

don't get me wrong I love my wife and kids,
but I hate working so hard, and the business is okay...
but it's not my passion, it's what I do to pay the bills
if I got a solid job offer that let me work 8 hours a day 5 days a week plus beneifts...good bye def-star
atleast as a full time gig
I would still do my own shit and small jobs for friends
but to have my time back to actually spend with my kids, or to start a band, or to skate when I want
or have a weekend to do nothing but waste....
this work is what makes me feel old... and yeah I'm 33 now but no mae of my blood line has lived past 50 due to heart faliure, my mom is 53 and has been seriuosly ill for atleast the last 5 years...
and the doctors can't solve what's wrong with her....
so I have 17 years left if I am lucky....
shit now I feel old but back to work I go
