I'm back from sin city...

I'm tired as fuck....broke as fuck....but I had a damn good time.

the trip was great,I don't think I slept for more then a few hours while I was there...I'll post up some pics as soon as I recover from this fucking time change, that really fucked me up....our flight left vegas at 10:40pm,and after the lay over and delay in Atlanta,we got back to the Charlotte airport at 8:15am.We went from clear skies and 88 degrees in Vegas to pouring down rain and 45 degrees in Charlotte...but I'm glad to be back home.

I love gambling waaaaaay too much, so i won't allow myself to go anywhere near Vegas or Atlantic City. I would never be able to resist the temptation of all those casinos.

yes, this was my first time in Vegas.Downtown was my kinda place...I could have spent the entire time there and been happy, but we waited until our last day to check it out.
I spent wednesday night at The Double Down Saloon ,that place was really cool, they were having a pinup girl photo shoot there, the ladies were HOT.The jukebox was free and full of punk music, including The Ducky Boys and Roger Miret and the Disasters.I also spent a couple of hours at the Glitter Gultch....wow

I went in Glitter Gultch my first time. Free cover but 2 $9 drink minimum...55 girls. Not a big fan.
You couldn't even sit and enjoy the dancers because girls were all over you rapid fire one after the other trying to milk you for private dances. I got out of there with a quickness.

But yeah they both have their pluses...the strip is like a big family orientated Disneyworld type environment and downtown is more of a streetfair type atmosphere. MUCH cheaper rooms too, just NEVER stay at the Golden Gate. Place is a total shit hole. But their .99 shrimp cocktails are killer.

When we go next month we're staying at Luxor.

Downtown Vegas is all you need, the strip is cool for a day, maybe two, but downtown is where all the fun really is. Spoiler, did you hit the big gift shop? They have cool shit, velvet elvises, bowling shirts, dice clocks and shit like that. Did you check out madam toussads (sp?) wax museum in the Venetian? Man, I want to get back there soon!

no,we did go there during the day,but it didn't open until 4pm,so we split...besides,the dude I went with was crying about a $30 cover, but we ending up going to Glitter Gultch, which is free to get in,but with a 2 drink minimum (drinks stated at $9 each)...and the girls damn near begged for dances.
I plan on going back real soon, and the Palomino is on my list of places to check out.
