28 weeks later

the follow up to 28 days later. I just saw the trailer online and it looks amazing! the premise is the infection has run it's course and the US Military is tasked with final sterilization of the UK and then the reintegration of it's refugee population. As this is occuring, the infection is reintroduced and begins a new cycle of horrors. I loved the original and this looks to please as a fitting sequel. You can see this trailer as well as production clips from Rob Zombies upcoming Halloween remake on UHM.com

The only problem with 28 Weeks Later is that it doesn't tell much in the way of what happened between the two movies. You have to get a graphic novel that comes out shortly before the movie comes out to get the full story.

The first one was tight as it kind of did it with a different flavor. Should be better than the Omega Man that is allegedly coming out some time this year.

Damn, didn't even know. I never finished the first one... I should go back and give it a view. Funny thing to me is that animal liberationists are basically at fault for the spread of the infection. Haha.

Yeah, I always dug that aspect of it too, it says to me that no one is completely right on either side of an issue, there is always a grey area where alot of people are not willing to go with their values and belief systems. The result is the spread of an infection called rage, so simple yet that movie says alot about society and peoples behavors in general. I love this flick, you should definitely go back and review Dave, especially since you are a zombie fan, this movie is NOT zombies but does a good job of riding those coat tails without actually riding those coat tails if you know what I mean.

Yeah, I don't know why but I lost interest when they were camping in that field. I should definitely go back and check it out.

Haha, yeah, I don't know what it was. It was late and I got bored... so I went to bed and sent it back to Netflix.

I flipped through the graphic novel last night... looks great. It has a little bit about the experiments on the chimps before the animal lib guys let 'em loose and there was experiments on humans before the chimps.
