It's good to be the KING
I got my fuckin' package for humiliating Dan Smash a couple days ago and haven't had time to write about it yet. I got the new Ducky Boys and the new
Slapshot CDs along with posters for both. Both CDs are fucking awesome and they're both fucking amazing bands. I did get the Slapshot CD from this
really hot girl just a week or so before hand, so I was able to pass my new copy on to this kid I'm starting a new band with (more news on that as it
develops). I fucking love the bonus material on the Slapshot CD, the making of the album fucking cracks me up. I'm still working out the Ducky Boys
disk, I've loved that band since I first heard 'em (back when the split seven inch with the Murphys first came out) and I love everything they have
out (including this record), but this one is definitely a big change. It almost sounds like a cross between the older sound from them mixed with the
Sinners And Saints stuff (which I also love), especially the second half of the CD. I think I've played that CD about 15 times since I got it and it
ain't stopping any time soon.
Anyway, Thorp rules for having these contests, Ducky Boys and Slapshot both rule period, and of course, I rule for tearing Danny Boy a new
asshole.....oh yeah, hot girlies who send me CDs rule a hell of a lot too.

Yeah, the new Slapshot kicks ass. I will say though that nobody will get their hands on it. But I've gotten six copies of the War Music comp (fuckin
amazing!!!!!!) from Thorp and I've been handing those out all over.
