hating on tech metal grind shit
you know what it is...
its stupid.
takes elements from hardcore, such as double kicks, twosteppin parts and breakdowns... and totally overdoes them while adding shit vocals that are
totally inane as they don't resemble a single word in the english or whatever other language spoken by the human race.
the fanbase are a bunch of not any different from every time I die girl pants wearing fashioncore kids who then hardcore dance to the music just
because its what is done, for show, not really because they feel it (mostly) and thats just fucking gay. some of the tunes are alright. but holy
shit....
another thing, taking a song, ending it, 5 seconds later doing a chug chug mosh part?
what the fuck is that! it defeats the purpose...
fuck what has the world come to in music!
other than bad hiphop... this shit is lame, OH another thing, whats with the guys grabbin eachothers asses and nuts n shit, saw that all too much last
night at one of the shows...
some of these kids need a kick in the nuts!
i suppose it wouldnt be any good telling most of them that it aint all about style and fashion... its about heart, but, thats not what that music is
about so i dunno, it just kills me that a year ago basically... that music didnt really exist to the extent that it does now and it had push
moshing... talk about the hardcore influence... metalcore is similar but alot better in certain respects

I don't mind old grind from the 80's like Napalm Death and ENT and stuff like that. But this "math-core (???)" shit is fuckin gay.

I wouldn't call any of what you're talkin' about "Grind", that's reserved more for the type of bands Discipline brought up. I also wouldn't say that
any of the shit you're talking about is worth a shit, so on that point, at least, I completely agree with you, Endera. Of course, I'm the guy who
thinks that at least 95% of what's being called HC these days is actually just shitty ass metal or emo.

Gotta go with Tireironsaint on that one. Most "HXC" right now is crap. Some good bands out, but most are just terrible. The math core thing is so
ridiculous I dont even talk about it to people.

grind core has always been earache-style bands... entombed, carcass, cathedral, napalm death, etc.
mathcore is a slilly name, but regardless of how you classify them, i've never been able to get into converge, dillinger, and the like.
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

never could get into grindcore

fire, but I?m just not close enough to get the job done.? George Carlin

I love carcass....
and yeah I do like some tech stuff.... the glory or should I say gory days of death metal.....
when death bands signed to Major labels, a lot similar to whats happening now in hardcore.....
the good thing was the bands got dropped and the scene went back to the way it was, small and undergrond.
lets hope the same happens here
but anymore if I am going to listen to a guy masturbate on guitar, it'll be eddie van halen early cataloge only....

The End, Dillinger Escape Plan, Converge, The Number 12 Looks Like You...all this is shitty fuckin shit. I can't stand any of it. Can't get into it
because the beat changes so many fuckin times & the guitars make the most annoying fucking noises.
Nasum, Napalm Death, Anal Cunt, Agathocles, Krigshot, Pig Destroyer, Dahmer, Warhate & other bands, this shit is fun to listen to in the right mood.
There are tons of good grind & grindcore bands but no goot moth/tech bands have ever existed or will ever exist.
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

i like grind when its savage and cool...but when they make it artsy its really fucking dumb
just take a look at the papers
your leaders
they\'re killers
they\'re liars
what they do in your
name to make the bodies pile higher
the murders, the terror
they\'ve done it forever
as we sit band and smile
at the script they sell us
but now the victims, they\'re rising
their numbers\'s multiplying
they want their revenge for the years
that they\'ve been dying
