Best Stage names in music.....

It can even be a real name if its super cool, Like LEMMY for example. If its a stage name and you know the origin of it then post that up too!

Go for it!

Also, I'm gonna go out on a real limb/stetch here, and ask if Paul Bearer is a stage name...it would make sense fitting in with the Sheer Terror lyrical style......."pallbearer". I know that I can be completely wrong here because I have a habit of reading into things too much sometimes, so I offer my apologies in adavance.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Paul Bearers real name is Paul Popawski I think....but don't quote me on it...

There was also a Paul Bearer in Philadelphia's Serial Killers back in the day....still one of my favorite Philly Bands ever.

the dudes in Sodom had stage names like Angel Ripper, Black Fire, and something
Cronos, Mantas, Abbadon

"Lord Ahriman (Dark Funeral)"

This one's great because it comes from Zoroastrainism... it's the name of the Satanic force in that religion.
