Questin About Hank 3

I have Straight To Hell and Love sick, Broke and Driftin, but I do not have Rising Outlaw. How is Rising Outlaw in comparission to the other two albums?

I think it's the worst one. It's still good, but I think there's only 2 songs he had anything to with writing on there. A few of the songs are Wayne Hancock songs so obviously they're good, but the Hancock versions blow Hank's outta the water. It sounds like he was still hoping for more mainstream commercial success when he put that album out.

Hank III hates the album Risin' Outlaw....thats an album that his record label made him release, they wouldn't let him record his own songs, they picked out most of the songs...he had very little input on the sound or songs.I still like that record better then most of the country shit thats out there...but it's pretty weak compared to L,B & D or STH.
He'll be hitting the road again starting July 14th...do not pass up a chance to see this motherfucker live.

Apparently I've seen him.

Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

"Pills I Took" is a cover song,it was originally done by a band called Those Poor Bastards...in case you didn't already know.
