Punk rock softball anyone?
I was thinking the other day about my childhood running around baseball diamonds at night when my dad would play in his fastpitch softball leagues and
playing around with the other kids, riding around on my bike and shit. Going to the concession stand and getting all types of junk and I was thinking
about how fun it would be for my kid to have that as he's growing up.
Then I got to thinking about how fun it would be to be on a team that is a bunch of "misfits" and punks skins and hardcore kids. Tattooed freaks
having a rowdy time with all these jock type dudes. And to hell with playing good or anything like that.
Then I got to thinking about how funny it would be to have the bleachers filled with punk rocker wives and kids and friends doing cheers based on punk
songs and stuff. Like a team called "138" and you get folks to sing the song. That shit would throw the "normals" for a loop.
But how the hell do you go about getting a new team put into a league or how would you start a league of all punks, skins and hardcore kids? The
younger generation seems to be into kickball, but fuck that schoolyard shit... softball is where it's at, fuckin' with the jocks and their good time.
Hahaha.

I was thinking of doing a similiar thing with soccer.
Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where
cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

i try and coach kids in baseball, but i am seriously the worst at every sport except maybe kickball.

a bunch of us played 'hardcore volleyball' when we were in highschool.
just a bunch of skaters and hardcore kids we knew from the area, which was not many back then, but enough for two teams.
it was pretty sloppy, and thus there was a fair amount of blood, but it was always fun.
and of course all of the lady friends would be hanging out.
good times.

as for softball...
i played on a team in new york for two or three years.
we were sponsored by Mezco, the toy company.
dope jerseys and hats.
anyway, i was pretty much there for the post-game drinking.
it started getting more serious, and when dudes started showing up in the stretchy pants and face paint, i knew it was time to bounce. those fuckers
NEVER wanted to go out after a game!

This reminds me of when I took bowling for a P.E. credit in High School. It was me and a few of
the Punk Rock kids along with some rednecks. It was fucking hilarious. At the time I was still a raging drunk and my best friend and I would drink
before school started. Since Bowling was our first class of the day, we were usually good and buzzed by the time we walked across the street to the
bowling alley. My friend even got kicked outta school on the way over there one day for "urinating on the new Fine Arts Facility".
