stars and stripes

Thanks xHonusx

This shit kicks ass. Half way throught the cd already. Good stuff.

I ripped it to itunes as well but the names for songs did not come up. How can I get them? Since it is a burned copy does that make it not possible? Can I put them in manually?

Man these cd's is really good. The lyrics are simple and great. Positive for the most part and motivating.

The music is making my son go bonkers. He is all over the place.

Everytime I jam this out on ITUNES it says accessing gracenote cdc whatever.

Also in the library it is not listed except for each tune has its own file. Like the cd's I downloaded the complete cd is listed in one file but this is each separate song. Plus I added the names and titles but it only lists it on a separate device and not int he library itself. Is there something else I should do?

My favorite stars and stripes tidbit is how everyone thinks/thought that the line in 'Drop the Bomb' was "Thirty one gooks and a nigger jump".

This is what I figured out, its all right except for the question marks in the first line of the second verse. Anyone know what that name is?

A jet came down the other day, they said a bomb was on the plane
Thirty one gooks and they did the job, but there was no one to blame
what the sense of trying to figure out who did the deed
Fuck em all lets drop the bomb who'll miss the middle east

Time to drop the bomb - whoa ohhh ohhh
Time to drop the bomb - whoa ohhh ohhh
Time to drop the bomb - whoa ohhh ohhh
Time to drop the bomb - On em all!

??????? says were the killers and the enemy of world peace
But we know where the terrorists are and we know they'll never cease
Its time to take the problem and solve it right away
take the bomb, put it on the plane and drop that fucker today

Time to drop the bomb - whoa ohhh ohhh
Time to drop the bomb - whoa ohhh ohhh
Time to drop the bomb - whoa ohhh ohhh
Time to drop the bomb - On em all!

I always heard that it was " 31 gooks and a nigger", but I listened to it again, and I definitely think you're right... seems like Choke and Vulture Rock never felt the need to clarify, either.

Well, I think Stars and Stripes was so tongue and cheek they figured they'd let people think what they thought or whatever.

Yeah, too tongue-in-cheek to be serious was the impression I got on the band's end. As for Vulture Rock, I think they like that it's "controversial". I think John realizes that it helps sell albums for him.
