Borders
It's amazing how much time I can spend in that place and not even purchase anything......

I am the same way. Borders is awsome.
I find myself spending a most of my time in the Psychology department and I am not even a psych major. It's weird.
Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

Yeah, it's a weird hole in the space-time continuum, because everytime I go there it feels like 10 minutes but in reality it's been an hour or more.
Barnes and Noble is like that for me too. If I don't go in there with something in mind I'm lost for a while. I was sitting in Borders Saturday
reading American Hardcore... first time I've actually seen it in the store.

I love a good bookstore. I can spend a whole day in one.

My wife tells me I should use the library more... but you know what? I'd probably never return. Seriously... it would be a family disaster.

ya don't need a library.
you can sit in borders all day and the people working dont bother ya.
my buddy spent 9 hours in one in nYC a few years ago when he saw LOA at irving plaza. he went both nights, but sleeping in the car got to be a lil
much after a while and cold.

I just found out that Borders lets employees "Borrow" books for 2 weeks at a time. That means that any book you buy there could very easily be a used
book. Thats kinda fucked up.

Reading is a lost art, I read but I'm trying to cut out a lot more television out and read even more.
And never been to Borders, enjoy Barnes and Noble though.
Speaking of hardcore books, I enjoyed American Hardcore but liked Salad Days a lot more.

I read 2 or 3 books every week. As much as I love tv and movies, books are always better.

I been reading tons of fantasy lately. Plus I'm always reading religion, eastern philosophy and mysticism and martial arts books. At the same time. I
got a stack of like 10 books I'm working on.
