Downset

Remember that band?
I'm ripping CDs to my PC and came across thier first release.
It's pretty flat by today's standards but I remember I liked It a bunch when it came out.

the first two albums are really good. I actually prefer the first one and still listen to it regularly.

DO WE SPEAK...... was good stuff. However, some of the songs were bad, but for the good stuff it was really good. ti was like a 1/2 and 1/2 record if that makes any sense?

Never heard the newer stuff. CHECK YOUR PEOPLE or whatever?

I wouldnt bother. They actually have one that's newer than Check Your People. Ive only heard clips of it, but that was enough to steer me clear.

I love every song on "Do We Speak A Dead Language"
"Check Your People" has a couple decent songs but it's not even worth downloading
The shit that came after that is awful

Do We Speak A Dead Language is golden. I love that record. I still got the cassette tape laying around somewhere.

I have everything they've put out so far, I was a "fan" of theirs. But honestly, I cant really get into them anymore. Only a few songs on each album (except last one which was horrible). One of those bands you love when you were younger but arent really feelin now.
