a conversation i just had with my daughter

First, you should know that I don't play most of 'my' music around my kids. The most aggressive stuff they've heard is like DKM or Foo Fighters.

So anyway, I'm up early this morning working and listening to Starkweather's Croatoan. My three year old wakes up, comes into my office and says...

"Good morning, Daddy! That music is not Laurie Berkner!"

- "No, sweetie, that's Uncle Rennie's band."

"That sounds different. What's that song about?"

- "You can ask Uncle Rennie next time you see him."

"He has to sing in the livingroom. I want to play instruments for Uncle Rennie so he can sing Jazz music."

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

i nearly fell outta my chair when she said, "that sounds different."
THAT'S an understantement.
the look on her face when she said it was awesome. she was genuinely confused by what she heard.

Awesome!

Have you ever noticed how crayons are a lot like M&M's? All the colors tend to taste the same.

I don't know but for a while I was thinking Luna from the big comfy couch was hot when she did her stretches. But her outfit does nothing for her figure. :P

kinda. but not when they zoom in on her grill. just when she's dancing around in the primary colored outfits.

i don't know about this person from the couch - never seen that show.

my personal favorite is still the chick that lives with magenta on that one episode of blue's clues. i think we covered that once before.

a friend of mine that works at Nick told me that's why Joe replaced Steve on the Blue's Clues cartoon... something a little more desirable for the ladies.

O SHIT! that is what a friend of ours wife had said. They had a birthday party for a child of theirs and while the kids played we drank a couple beers. His wife coems out while we are discussing this very subject and she said "Joe is much hotter than Steve" All the men agreed that Steve is much cooler.

Ha, I remember the last time we had this conversation. I still have a place in my head reserved for the hotness of some guest singer woman who was on one episode of The Wiggles that we used to have on tape for my daughter when she was little. I think I spent a couple afternoons trying to track down the name of that woman so I could find some more pictures of her, but I never figured out who she was.
