Two music reviews because I feel like telling you.

Go It Alone - Histories
Not feeling it as much as their last few albums. Maybe it'll grow on me.

Death Before Dishonor - Count me In
I admit proudly that I love it. I wasnt a fan of theirs until I saw them live. And this recording reminds me of that show.

...And I wish every single 'Hoods' song sounded like "Dont fight lets party".

the dbd version of "england belongs to me" is awesome. i?m glad that they turned to punk side of hc, away from this metalic sound they had on "true til death". the new songs are very catchy. i`m in love with the band.

go it alone - listen to it alone.

That DBD album is amazing....although I don't hear even a miniscule amount of punk in it.

If anything what you're hearing is a band that learned the value of writing shorter tighter songs because that ALWAYS has more of an impact than long meandering 4 minute long chugga opuses.

I hope Madball is taking notes.

I like them both, but for very different reasons.

DBD gets me ready for work while the GIA gets me thinking and prepared to write a song or just lay back and chill. The song titles are like all one word.

GIA puts me in the mood for love....LOL.:P

The new DBD is fucking amazing. It is a mad step up from their other stuff and their other stuff is great as well. This album has been at the gym with me for a while now.

Maybe I'll give that DBD a shot. Friend Family Forever is tight as hell... but True Til Death is BOOOOOOOR-ING.

Those other albums aren't even in the same league compared to the new one.

GIA's new CD is pretty fucking good. DBD was definitely a good record.
