A mailbox painted to look like the Star Wars character R2-D2 was stolen, which is a federal offense. It's not just the droid the Post Office is
looking for, it's the mail inside. For each item of mail stolen, the thief could spend five years in prison.

Postal inspectors are continuing to investigate.
