Mailing a CD in the US?

What does it usually cost to mail a CD within the USA?

I've got a bunch of mailouts to do and they cost over $3 to mail into the states from Canada.

Thanks.

somebody please confirm the amount.
it's been a while since i've shipped a single cd, and prices did just go up recently.
either way, it'lll still be cheaper.
just be careful bringing them all over the border!

you can get rates here: www.usps.com

An average cd that weighs 4 ounces including packaging is $1.64 not including delivery confirmation, insurance, etc.

I'm not sure what the rates are from Canada though.

It's a hell of a lot more than $1.64.

I messed up, it's $1.81 since the rate increase.

and it's only $1.93 for to send an average cd to Canada from the United States.
