Siczine-not sure if its a reg. ppv thing or not
its for this cage rage organization
they seem a bit low budget
who knows
murk-yeah man. this fight is gonna be killer, esp. since i like both of them. but tanks my boy so i gotta pull for him. i knew there was no way mercer
was winning that fight. no fuckin way.
he's past his time and MMA dosent seem to be his thing the way boxing was. its a whole 'nother ballgame.
you come at the king....you best not miss

It'll be on PPV. I'm sure they're both getting paid more than most UFC guys who have more talent just cause Tank and Kimbo draw viewers (though,
let's be honest, it makes sense they get paid more due to that fact). Wasn't the Kimbo-Mercer fight in Cage Fury and on PPV? (Sorry, too lazy to
check the first page of the thread.)
I'd lean towards Tank in this one. He does take too many fights on damn near zero notice, which makes his record look like crap. I think his last
fight it's widely known that he was hammered on vodka and said "yeah" on a week's notice or so.
I've definitely seen Tank give in to some weak subs, but I don't think Kimbo is *that* talented. He's done some minimal MMA training beyond his
backyard fights. But hell, the Gannon fight that many have seen was bullshit because they couldn't grapple... I'd say "can't go to the ground", but
just check out Kimbo's guys come in when Gannon throws some knees in the clinch.
In the end, it'll be an interesting fight. It may go stand-up and we'll see a brawl. If it goes to the ground, we'll either learn that Kimbo sucks
or that he has some minimal skill. If he loses, it's the former. If he wins, it's the latter.
When the bell rings at the end, I say Tank by KO. Like Badvibes said, it's an unusual event for Tank to have the opportunity to actually get in shape
for a fight.

Just read page 1. The part about training with Bas isn't as big of a deal as some of you think. Hell, lots of guys are MFS, but not all are
top-caliber fighters. Think of the fat guy on one of the TUF seasons, Mike Whitehead... he's done OK in IFL, but he aint' great by any means. Maybe
Kimbo has developed some skills... maybe he still isn't anything but a backyard fighter who schooled an over-the-hill boxer. We'll find out soon
enough.
