Lebanon Bologna
Tasteycake Krimpets
Tea Cooler
And chicken pot pie (from a kettle not in an actual crust)

Are the exact reasons why I can never live too far from here. All staples of my life.

Best cheesesteak I have ever had was at a campground about twenty minutes from my house. I kid you not they make the best cheesteaks ever. And I have tried all the hotspots in Philly and in other establishments and nothing beats this place.

As a side note. I used to live in Lebanon not too far from where the bologna is made. Driving by while they were smoking it in the smoehouses was an indescribable mouthwatering smell.

yes.
it is a con indeed.
wawa is pretty much top notch in all other departments.
i argue that it is not a proper cheese steak with the people here at work and they don't understand. they are only 30-40 miles from the city too...morons.
and for the record, putting mayonaise on a cheesteak is also a terrible terrible thing.

You guys fry up that bologna, right?

Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

Mike, try Mama's. It's $8.10 but it easily feeds to big dudes and has the best cheese. No lie, better than any cheesesteak I've had (which is a lot).

The worst is my boy went to San Diego and came back with a picture of a pita with steak and cheese in it. This is CA idea of cheesesteak.

Another staple of a healthy Philadelphian diet-MEGA FRIES! I just tore a huge can up from Castor Pizza (the originators of this fine dish)

I've ordered a couple Wawa "cheesesteaks" for a co-worker... what a disgrace! Not only do the look like shit, but they just scoop the "steak" out of one of those metal bins that sits in hot water!

Goddamn, I've only ever had vegan cheesesteaks at Gianna's Grille and Govinda's but shit...

lol, so what's the proper version?

is this similar to Summer Sausage?

this is kinda funny:

Lebanon Bologna

A Pennsylvania Dutch tradition. This uniquely mellow tangy flavored bologna is 90% lean. Comes as a 2 lb. midget.
