For anyone not familiar with this show, its a showtime original series. It's based on two Irish Brothers in Providence (inspired loosely by Whitey Bulger and his bro), one is a state rep, the other is a career criminal who's returned after years of hiding out from a contract on his head. Lots of great characters, its like the Sopranos meets The Departed meets The Wire...great mix of family, crime and politics.

Yes. I really liked the first season. I am currently watching The Wire on DVD. I think it excellent also.

I was curious how they could even do a second season, but from what I've heard in interviews it should be pretty interesting...dont want to spoil for anyone who hasn't seen season 1.

haha so much for not spoiling season 1. yes he's alive but i guess hes got a lot of cognitive damage, jason isaacs studied head trauma patients to get it down...him being half a nutjob can only be great. plus i guess theres some irish off the boat cousin this season. maybe his new tag a long...not sure.
