I've got a closet full of cards, mostly hockey but lots of baseball too. Most series from about 1988 to 1994-95. O Pee Chee, Upper Deck, Fleer & some others. I miss collecting that shit.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Stadium Events

Listed on eaby as well: Stadium events on ebay - $600.00

Little history on the missing game:

The most expensive and sought after licensed Nintendo video game (not including the Nintendo World Championships) is Stadium Events: an average fitness game from Bandai that had a short shelf life in September of 1987. The NTSC is sought after far more than the only "uncommon" PAL version and worth much, much more money.

Stadium Events (NTSC) on the right is completely identical to the ultra-common World Class Track Meet that was often found bundled inside of Super Mario Bros. / Duck Hunt cartridge variations and packaged inside of consoles. The only difference between the $200 original version and a 25 cent repeat is the title screen above and the replacement of 'Bandai' with 'Nintendo' on some of the events.

Don't 'ya just love how collecting greed has soured some of the classic gaming community? Stadium Events is the greatest epitome of collector-produced price guides showing proof that one day they will ruin the collecting scene. I can see the high demand for gold/gray NWC carts as owning a piece of history - I mean, even Panesian prices to an extent (I sure made a lucrative trade to eventually get my own copy of Hot Slots) - but when a game such as this, which offers absolutely nothing interesting or new and is widely available through other variations of the same formula. . . Well, damn, you really have to question the ilk going on behind the online scenes driving these prices upward. Rarity-schmararity my ass! Fight the power, brother man.

-nesplayer.com

BTW, the mention they made of Panesian and Hot Slots is a bootleg company that made PORN games for the NES. Yup, you read corectly... as seen below

Nintendo Porn Games

And the most insane Nintendo collectabile EVER...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_World_Championships

It was a competiton nintendo game that has a grey and gold version.. Grey sold on ebay for over $5,000.00 alone and the gold was up for a buy it now of $20,000.00 (don't know if anyone bought that though.

I can't believe someone has $6,000+ to blow on a bunch of outdated games, and yes I had the NES in '86 along with Robby the Robot and all, so I speak from experience, when I already have ALL of these games and more contained on one CD-R that I dl'ed over 4 years ago for free and all playable on my modded PS2. I guess I just have other priorities.

Or for even MORE oldschool feeling, this below makes it so you can save all the downloaded games onto this one cartridge and play it in the nintendo system. TECHNOLOGY!

I agree. I am interested to see what this auction goes upto.

Also, to Juandiablo... the problem with nintendos "crapping out" has been found and is easily fixable. If in the auction it says "new 72 pin slot" or somthing like that, it means it'll work like a charm. The slot in which the games conect get worn out over time causing the slot not to read the info off the cartridge corectly. They now sell replacement 72 pin slots pretty cheap to get old systems working like new.

It is INSANE how popular the old school NES is! Enough to make bootleg replacement parts in this day and age.
