I have a friend in ATL and this is what he said of the place and the people who work/worked their. This was part of a email.
"Marty,
13 Roses was started by a few people, one really famous artist named
Watson. I met them and got to go in before the place opened because a
friend of mine, whom I don't talk to anymore because I'm with Jen, is
good friends with him. Anyway, Watson recently left and left the place a
mess... ie, he had taken people's tattoo deposit money and left without
doing the work leaving the other artists to have to pay them back out
of their own pockets... at least that's what I heard. Those guys and
that kind of "party" atmosphere is something I stay away from. I go to
Timeless Tattoo with Lew Hands, Jason Kelly, Rob Knight, and it's owned
by Cap Szemeski (a recovering alcholic). It's a straight up clean
shop and the guys there are fantastic.
If you ever move to ATL you will find bunches of places like that, but
it's doesn't have the feel like Cleveland... and it gets so fucking HOT
here!"

I was just talking to my si-in-law last night about how getting sleeved takes a certain level of commitment (as I looked down at my half sleeved arms,
which have been in a holding pattern for about 4 years). I encourage everyone on here to continue posting pictures of any new work, its like a kick in
