Sounds like you guys could use a booking agent more than anything. Not sure of too many indie labels booking much...could be wrong though.

Booking agent could be handy but we can book shows ourselves. But we cant get records out as far as a decent label could.

I think you should follow Jason's advice but what do I know? I think it's a big misconception by bands that a label can get your album into places that you can't by yourselves. Granted, some places will bring in a release just because of what label it's on. You just need to link up with a decent distributor. Putting out a release isn't all that expensive and if you put it out on your own, you will gain the most by it. If you're a good band, kids are gonna hunt for your records. As for the downloading the albums, is there anywhere to buy your album online? If not, why wouldn't kids download it?

I think more than anything else we need someone in the states pushing us. The financial backing of a label would be great too cause we are flat broke.

I'm not trying to be an ass but trying to give you some advice as I've worked at labels/distros for over 10 years. If you're not pushing yourselves and busting your ass to get your name out there, most likely the label isn't going to take the risk.

I totally agree with you. But we bust our asses to do as much as we can. But we are based in Ireland so theres only so much we can do from over here.
