...aaaand we're back!
Thanks for your patience. Everything went relatively smooth. Move to the new server is complete and we're running the latest version of the
messageboard software.
You may also notice that we have WAY fewer board members than we used to. I did a little slicing and dicing of the database and deleted any user that
had registered but never actually logged in. (When you register, you're sent an email with your password, and then you log in using that.) 99.5% of
the user accounts that were listed as registered, but pending first log in were spam accounts, so out the went. 1,100 of 'em.
Plus, the new version of the MB software includes a CAPTCHA image on the registration page (a random assortment of 8 letters that have to be entered
correctly before the form to create a new account can be submitted) which should drastically reduce the number of automated spam registrations we had.

When I came onto the Thorp site, there was no link for the boards. I had to come in through the SG site.

this isn't so much as a problem but an observation. in the top right corner, under the last active part, there was a link to both thorp and sgr home
pages but isn't there anymore. not a big deal, just thought i'd let you know

Back to normal.
I realised something. I feel like we are the old ment hat go to the mall int he morning before the stores actually open. They meet up, have coffee and
walk the mall for exercise. This was like the mall was closed. We had to go back to society for a while.
