I'm all for the Download versions of it. It helps our international friends and saves dough.

a big part of wha this board has always been about is introducing one another to new music.

for that reason, i'm up for anything. you wanna do a proper mix of strictly hardcore? fine. you wanna just send a copy of some obscure 60s jazz recording? fine. you wanna hand-write liner notes? fine. you wanna do downloads? fine. (just keep 'em high quality files and put 'em in a zip!) honestly, whatever people want to do is fine with me.

any new comers that want it, copeyboy, etc, that's cool, too. keeping active on the board would probably instill a little more confidence, but that's only because we had one person who was kind of new last year that said he was in but never sent anything.

if we're doing a send date deadline of 12/10, what should the signup deadline be? how about sunday 11/25?

and yes, you can start sending me your addresses via U2U and I'll send them all to everyone after the signup deadline.

Didn't you guys try this once already? :P

I believe we'll U2U our mailing addresses to BD who will then distribute them to everyone who has submitted an address, you then burn a copy of your mix CD for everyone on the list and mail them out. Then you wait for everyone elses CD to arrive in the mail (that's the fun part). It worked well last year with only one person not coming thru. I can understand the download option, but getting a CD in the mail every other day for 2 weeks was great last year.

Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

The more the merrier I say. I'll go with whatever the group digs. I also think that there should be no limit to genre.

just so you guys know, if you take a standard paper CD sleeve and tape it up good, you can mail a CD and a piece of paper for about 60 cents. i've done it many times.

as for this year, i'm not saying...

as for the money i think it only cost me like 10-15$ for everything last year, at the most.

How did you do it so cheap? The few I sent in Canada cost next to nothing, but I spent a bunch on all the ones shipped to the U.S. I'm too broke this year for that.
