Yeah,
Have a friend I worked with for like 7 years back in the day.
He was a huge fan, and tried to turn me onto them and I was like ehhh yeah . That was like back in 96.
Now I totally dig the stuff.
So good in my humble opinion.
Not for the metal folk, but I guess that's why I didn't get it when dude put it to me.

I am a huge NC fan, own almost all of his cds.
But.... Grinderman was a huge letdown for me, I liked 2 songs at the most.

Great place to start for new fans = "best of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds" cd.

New NC full length in early 2008.

i acually went to a lalapalooza just to see the bad seeds play
it was really hot and at the same time that lucious jackson band was playing the side stage so most people went over there to see them
it was like 1 in the afternoon
the bad seeds were MINDBLOWING
