I just got this cd in the mail,and it is really good.They sound kinda like a cross between Blood For Blood & Clutch with Paul Bearer singing.Good shit to get drunk as fuck too.

as i said before i think they´re really good, but i was surprised that they have this strong new orleans influence. so, not a complete sheer terror rip off :)

I doubt it. Look at the metal band Soilent Green, they have a NOLA sound but it is devoid of both of those genres. I guess what he means is it is has a bit of a "dirty" sludgy sound perhaps? A bit more rocked out than most bands even.

Hmm, I've never heard of that as a description for anything musically outside of Blues and Jazz based stuff before. I don't really hear the common thread with Soilent Green, but I get what you mean about the rocked out, dirty sound.

fuck....this not having access to myspace is a bitch sometimes! I am actually taking notes now so when I do get a chance to get back to the internet crack site I will have all of these recommended bands to look into. I will get caught back up someday
