as i said before i think they´re really good, but i was surprised that they have this strong new orleans influence. so, not a complete sheer terror

I doubt it. Look at the metal band Soilent Green, they have a NOLA sound but it is devoid of both of those genres. I guess what he means is it is
has a bit of a "dirty" sludgy sound perhaps? A bit more rocked out than most bands even.

Hmm, I've never heard of that as a description for anything musically outside of Blues and Jazz based stuff before. I don't really hear the common
thread with Soilent Green, but I get what you mean about the rocked out, dirty sound.

what i mean are this slow, heavy rock parts, which remind me of down, or the later c.o.c.
german metalheads call this new orleans sound or stoner rock.

that´s why i was suprised. the myspace tracks are more straight up. nonetheless a really good disc.

fuck....this not having access to myspace is a bitch sometimes! I am actually taking notes now so when I do get a chance to get back to the internet
