Near Beer in iraq

So I'm in the chow hall and what do I find.....a cooler full of different brands of non-alcoholic brews. I think their hearts in the right place but it still amounts to a big ol kick in the balls :)

Is Iraq dry? or is just the US military. I can tell you for a fact that there is not a single drop of booze in Saudi Arabia, I checked. Get some of that tasty Afri-Cola into ya'.

Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

As far as I know, it's dry now. I may be wrong though. I know it's definitely dry in surrounding Nations, Kuwait, Saudi and Iran. So I am assuming it's dry here too, but we know what assuming does don't we? Well I know the military is not allowed to drink here regardless.......except near beer apparently

Dinking might be relative with the guy I work with though. The other week he had a shot of jager with us and 3 light beers. He didn't remember driving home and woke up at 2 am with the TV blaring and all his clothes/shoes on.

Nothing in our chow halls, but there is some neat stuff out in town, unfortunately, I don't think they will let us ship anything to the US food related. sorry
