yeah man I usually go with game stop...my kid wrote his xmas list and it's like 13 PS2 games...I was like ...hmmmm ok dude, like lets have you tell me

ultimately, it depends on what you want to the computer for.
gaming or graphics or video work is out of the question.
email, web surfing, MS office is OK.
main problem is that Vista requires a huge amount of resourses and these machines barely meet the minimum required just to run the operating system.
the $600 dell isn't terrible.
