I want to like the band Bloodclot

I really do. Maybe I need to hear more. It might be the vocals that turn me off. I don't know...

i know it's a blasphemous thing to say, but i've never been a fan of jj's vocal sound.

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

I really like it to be honest. Its different, you can tell these guys kinda had a pain in their ass doing regular hardcore stuff and wanted to mix it up.

I'm a big fan of JJ, but I'm not loving this. The music doesn't fit his vocal style well.

Same. I don't enjoy the Cro-Mags. I have yet to really get down with anything they put out. I'll turn my "scene card" in on my out.

It took me a long time to really get into a lot of CroMags stuff just because his vocals are awkward sounding and vocals usually make or break bands for me. There's just so many classic songs in a lyrical as well as musical sense on the first two records that I eventually got past it and learned to love those records.

A year or two ago I got a CD that has the pre-Age Of Quarrel demos on it and I hoped it would be better vocally, but somehow it's actually worse. I like that it's rawer music-wise, but his singing style was horrendous and his timing was pretty far off on a lot of it as well.

I like JJ overall. I loved the FVK live stuff Ive heard. I like some Cro-Mags (but not all) and I like some of the Bloodclot stuff ive heard. The artwork and logos are lame though!

^^^^^^^^ I will agree with that.

I didn't think it was bad, I didn't think it was anything close to what they're hyping it as, but is was listenable. Doubt I'll be running out to but it though.

Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?
