spreading the hate

I had this idea years ago but just now got around to doing them, so tell me what you think

would you buy something like this?

i think it's a good idea.
trouble is gonna be getting eyeballs to the auction.
people probably aren't looking for 'anti-stickers' so you have to hook 'em with something else, and that can be tough.
you could also try keywords relative to the street art scene like, i dunno, graffiti, wheat paste, obey, wk, etc...

thats a pretty cool idea! I like that they are on clear vinyl... of course it wouldnt work if they wern't, but its still a cool idea.

I would probably buy them if I knew another sticker or something that I wanted to use them on. BD is right the hardest part will be getting people to check them out. I could see them selling really well in a 3 pack with a hang tag at a bunch of differant retail stores.

it's a simple idea that might work I just have to find my market...

I wish I could get them into retail...

Awesome!

Have you ever noticed how crayons are a lot like M&M's? All the colors tend to taste the same.

I'll give bulk discounts
ha ha
I also thought about making them in 3 sizes, 4", 3" and 2" but I'm not sure on that yet...

I just need some hype about them...
and then I think it'll take off on it's own...

just think what you could do with some in a hot topic store

I bet that Newbury Comics would buy them and put them in stores. They buy stuff from small/indie companies all the time. Give them a call... 1.617.254.1666 Im not 100% sure who the best person to talk to would be but I think that Jaben Wyneken is a good place to start. You can just call that main number and ask to speak to him, they wont ask why or anything. Then offer to send him a few samples and hope for the best, but I think they would probably buy them!

I like it and I think different sizes would be a good idea. But I got to say, $5 for three stickers is a bit pricey.

I reposted Steves bulletin about the 'anti stickers' and one of my friends replied back saying that she used to have a bunch of screw stickers and they would put them over hearts on bumper stickers. Thats funny!

I remember seeing some years ago that said like...

I 'spade' My Dog
I 'club' My Wife

with the symbol insted of the heart...

Our print shop teacher in high school was pretty cool. He let everybody print up metal t shirt screens and all other kind of stuff that the normal teaching staff would shun. I made these blood feast t shirts with inverted crosses on them and half the metal dudes in school were wearing it.
i'd love to get some screws or clubs stickers.

someone around here has a spray paint stencil of the Dare logo that says dare to keep cops off donuts....

i think this is a great idea and that you can definitely find outlets for something like this, but ultimately wholesale price is gonna be a big deciding factor. use yours to line up some distribution then outsource production to china! ;)

On a side note, very cool idea.

sorry I wont be outsourcing them, and I doubt I can get them to retail...
my production costs are low enough I will probably bring them down in price soon.
