Jack was my drink of choice up until about 4-5 years ago. I can't even imagine how many bottles of that stuff I drank, especially Gentleman Jack.

It's the green label stuff with less alcohol right?
I haven't messed with Jack since I was 19 or so, but if someone were to buy me a shot, I wouldn't turn it down.

It's double distilled for a smoother, richer flavour. It has less bite than regular Jack, but more flavour, and is a bit more mellow. It comes in a
differently shaped bottle with a black label and a cork top. Costs about $5 more than regular Jack.
The Green Label Juan mentioned is a different type. It's older and about double the price of regular Jack.

with one long, painful and regrettable exception, i never drank jack straight; only with coke.
stopped drinking it when they lowered the proof a few years back.

I just remembered the last time I drank Jack.
I was 19 and a bunch of the creeps at the tattoo shop snuck my underaged ass into some mafia owned and operated titty bar in South Philly. I drank
Jack & cokes all night then went to Checkers across the street later...good times...
