Hard Day At work
So as some of you may know I am working in the music industry behind the scenes these days doing event planning for a music industry association. We
are at most big conferences including the East Coast Music Awards happening next month, SXSW etc.
I've been working with the jurys we put together to pick the acts that get to showcase on our stage at the ECMAs this year and announced not only the
lineup today but had to inform all the people who didn't get in about it.
I have to say coming from someone that has been told no repeadidly in this fucked up biz that I hate being the guy that has to tell others no. I had
a few shitty phone calls coupled with a few shitty emails and some other not so bad ones. All in all an awesome day but these shitty coorespondences
happened late in the day scarring what would have been awesome.
Not really sure if it will never not bother me but it is without a doubt the WORST part of my new dream job.
