This Dexter show

So based on the opinions here I mention to my wife I would like to check this show out. She just sent me the first season on DVD and I watched the first two episodes last night. Holy fucking good! I am hooked, so well written and interesting, The character depth is already in full swing and the show just started for me. I dig it. Now, if the second season is the shit the way youz all say it is, well, I can't fucking wait for that DVD. Thanks a bunch gang!!!!

thanks to the writer's strike, networks are more or less out of original programming.

not only is dexter a huge hit on cable, it wouldn't require that much editing to make standard-tv friendly. not a lot of obscenities, only the most gory shit would have to be cut.

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

I just picked this up. Haven't gotten to check it out yet but the basic story sounds VERY cool.
