i can see maybe 3/4 things on that list that I would be even remotely interested in.
Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where
cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

I have one thing on that list and only see one or maybe two other things that I would buy. I do like Newbury and have ordered from them a few times,
but bestseller lists at record stores are always painful to read since so many people buy such horrible crap.

That description of Newbs almost makes it sound small. They are one of the top 10 music retailers in the country. So seeing Dropkick Murphys up the
top of the list is huge. They must have sold thousands upon thousands of records through the chain to rank that high. Maybe 10K of each? I would guess
at least that.

yah Mark is right, they are bigger than my description makes them sound. I just dont think of them as being huge becuase they are still regional for
the most part.
I worked at the warehouse for 8 years and Mark is also right that to be up near the top of the list they had to have sold A TON of DKM records!!!

of green in his family going back 300yrs has an Irish Pride/green white orange clover tattoo singing shipping off to boston.....with a crooked hat an
jeans around his knees.....ahhh well good for dkm. And hey if it opens up some poor soul doomed to listen to the radio to other good music then

You cant blame the Departed movie for that completly. The whole Irish Pride/DKM thing has been going on since at least 2000. I cant even keep track of
all the people in the punk scene who refer to themselves with "Irish" before there nickname (I.E IrishMike, IrishKelly, IrishPotato) Why is being
Irish such a cool thig?

It's the other version of being black. It's cool to represent yourself as being blood tied to a certain background that has faced enormous adversity
throughout history. the Irish definitely fall into this category and so these dumb shits somehow rationalize a sense of pride from this. It is
retarded and has no credit with me whatsoever. Because your great great cousins brothers friend suffered through the potatoe famine and then got his
sorry ass to America to work the railroads next to Chinese immigrants, you feel like you have suffered alongside him and now the world owes you and
you don't give a fuck about anything blah blah blah.....it makes you a real badass. Ok, my soapbox just fell aprt right from underneath me. Congrats
to the DKM for their success, a band that truly deserves to be big, they really do. This Amy Winehouse, I have heard the name many times, but never
heard her music, any good?
