the only stuff I'm enjoying hearing is stuf with an oi feel to it...all others is kinda blah at the moment....

Ive been buying more metal over the last couple of months, but as far as punk/hardcore Im definitly more into the 'street punk' sound than anything
else right now.

me too
i have totally gone back and realized how much i always loved alot of those bands
alot of that stuff i didnt listen to for years
im also heavy into the english wave of ska right now
specials, madness, english beat, selector, ect.
you come at the king....you best not miss

yeah man I was on a specials kick for a while . i was listening to it all day at work.
as for the oi, allot of the time, for me, the more primitive / raw sounding the better. I even like other bands doing old songs like them 2 tribute to
the real oi cds...

I've been on the newer bands youth crew type shit. I am really diggin the new bands.
BANE, COMEBACK KID, WITH HONOR, AMBITIONS, CHAMPION, BETRAYED. Yes I know some of the bands been around for a while or are done but I jsut got into
them and they are new to this old fart.
Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

I've been on a big Bad Manners kick for the last month.
Check out a band called On File if you haven't already, straight Oi! its well done without sounding rehashed, if you know what I mean.
