Hey Geoff sounds like he just described Chris Moody to a tee.....
I was in Makos once and yeah that place seems to be a magnet for over the bridge types who have expensive bikes they ride once a week and don their harley costumes for the day.

I got down there on Saturday with two of my friends. Goddamn good time. As for a review, here are a few quick points of my head:

1. I liked the fact Paul Bearer spoke quite a bit about his personal life and was honest about some things that are kind of personal issues. As much as I enjoy hearing about Sheer Terror, I never knew too much about the man himself.

2. The gentleman has a tendency to go off on tangents, as he pointed out. Not a bad thing but I lost him a few times.

3. Damn he can drink bourbon like a champ. A small bottle of Maker's Mark in about 2 hours and still coherent.

4. I was expecting quite a bit of ballbusting but it was more of a laid back atmosphere. At first during Q and A I was nervous to ask a question but by the end I was firing them off.

5. There was no bitterness towards the past and a remarkably good sense of humor.

I hope to see Paul Bearer speak again. If you read this, Paul, thank you for the bourbon by the way.

thank you for your kind words, and review...it felt really good to communicate on such a personal level without the loving aid of a musical backing...i want to do this more often, and i will promise - to whomever that is interested,as well as myself - to look at those avenues that could lead me there...

and, you're welcome to my bourbon...as are all of you that partake in such libations...

my great friend, joe, who filmed the night will be editing the footage alongside me for it to be posted on the internet for all to watch, learn, laugh, cry,or hate on me all they damned well please...

it was a great night, and i'm happy to hear that you enjoyed it...

rev.pb

Will learn to Tap Dance,eventually...Will have you broads Hula,definitely...Trust me,you'll see.
