Whipping, public beatings/humiliation, etc. is how you deter crime. How many people would be drinking and driving if they had to walk around for a year wearing a sign that stated their crime?

So, what is the difference in rehabilitation and punishment? I think people that say this should have to spend at least a week in jail. This whole generalization that all criminals are rapists and child molesters is beyond insane. I love how people fall over each other yelling "Kill the rapists & child molesters" as if anyone think's it's right. Wow, you have common sense, congratulations! Those people have deep seeded problems and do need to be locked up for good. There are alot of shitbags in prison who never deserve to see the light of day but guess what? There are alot of good people in there too. People who end up getting fucked over on a case because they don't have the money to have decent counsel or commiting "crimes" that do not harm anyone but themselves. They go in decent human beings and prison turns them into something very ugly. Alot of people grow up fucked up and really don't know any better. When crime is all around you, you become conditioned to it. While a person's background does have a factor on how one grows up and deals with situations, it is not an excuse. It's easy to throw out these ideas and generalizations when you're not directly connected to it. To each their own and this is just my opinion.

By the way, I love criminals.

What happens when you break the rules in a "gang"? Do you go to gang prison? There ain't no free rides, anywhere.

Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

I'm really not sure what you're asking but if you're asking what happens when members of gangs violate their own laws? Depends on the gang and what exactly it is, but it is dealt with in one form or another. It would be rather naive to think that a gang member can just go all willy nilly and do whatever they want without facing any repercussions. Harshness & severity of the punishment really cannot be answered for something so vague.

On another note, anyone seen any of the shows or read about Richard Kuklinski? Talk about a stone cold motherfucker.

^^^^^^^^^^^^ I've been around enough bullshit to dipshits to know I want no part. You have no idea. Also I aint second guessing you either. Maybe you been through worse? Who the fuck knows but I won't defend a single one of those who are guilty. Now those who are innocent and a victim of the system? Of course its sad. Ya it should be changed but that still in no way is an excuse to think criminals or the ones committing vilent crimes is cool.
