Whats the funniest movie & sitcom of all time?

Some guys at work are having a discussion about what the most hysterical laugh out loud movies and sitcoms of all time are.

One guy says SUPERBAD is the funniest movie.

Another guy said Superbad sucked and that SOMETHING ABOUT MARY is the funniest movie and that FRIENDS is the funniest TV show.

For sitcoms, Im thinking SEINFELD, FAMILY GUY, THE OFFICE and KNIGHTS OF PROSPERITY.

For movies, CLERKS II, ANIMAL HOUSE... not sure what else.

I would have to go with Family Guy, All in the Family for shows, I get a good chuckle out of the Munsters too, I have always loved that show Fred Gwynne was so damn good!

Movies would be, Shakes the Clown, Jekyl and Hyde together again, and then certain scenes from all kinds of flicks, but not whole movies. I think Borat was laugh out loud funny as were the jackass movies.

As much as I love american Tv shows, NOTHING and I mean NOTHING is as funny as "Father Ted" or "Only Fools and horses"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Father_Ted
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Only_fools_and_horses

If you have access to a TV streaming site, find some of this stuff and watch it. You will 100% not be disappointed.

Father Ted is hysterical.

For me, the funniest sitcom is The Young Ones followed closely by Fawlty Towers.
Funniest moive would be Blazing Saddles with honourable mentions for Clerks 2, Super Troopers, The Great Outdoors, and Porky's.

probably the hardest I have ever laughed at a film was at

Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood...

but I really liked the early 90's urban cinema, so seeing it being made fun of was great

to me most new comedy can suck it....
I hate Jim Carrey Adam Sandler Wil Farrel and all the douche bags like that
anything monty python is great...
and the film for Bad News....

tv....
young ones, are you being served?, monty python
family guy...
simpsons
