Quicksand drummer joins 108
god, i love quicksand.
Alan Cage, who has done time in Burn, Seaweed, and Quicksand, has officially joined 108 on drums. Here's a statement from the band:
"We are stoked to announce that Alan Cage will be joining 108 on the drums. The first time the public will get their ears on it will be our South
American tour in April. Alan replaces Tom Hogan, who stayed with us for over a year, contributed significantly to our newest release on Deathwish, and
has become an important member of the 108 family. We wish him the best for his musical future."
108 is currently writing a new album, to be released on Deathwish Inc. later in 2008.
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

congrats to him, but with the exception of BURN thats a whole bunch of bands I dont care about at all.

Ya I love QUICKSAND as well. MANIC COMPRESSION is one really really good release. It's as heavy as it is mello. I DO NOT have SLIP though. I want to
get that someday. I saw them open for WHITE ZOMBIE and ANTHRAX in 1993. Good show. QUICKSAND really worked there asses off live that night. They were
all over the stage rockin the fuck out. And that was before MANIC ever came out.

Moose meat is delicious, but I assume their diarhea is pretty nasty. I'd still rather be hosed down in it than listen to 108.
