At least I'm willing to give shit a chance. I followed the link and listened to every song on their myspace and just can't understand the hype. From
those songs they just sound like all the other metal parading as hard core these days. Could be good stuff for that kind of thing, but that stuff
doesn't appeal to me at all, so I see no point in pretending otherwise.

it has metal influences sure, but I can hear all the other influences as well...
anyone who plugs in a guitar has a metal influence somewhere,
I think they bridge the gap nicely...

Steve, seeing all your recommendations for these guys was what really made me give 'em another shot, but I just don't get it. They really don't sound
all that different from everybody else out there these days to me. I can hear some Blood For Blood buried in there somewhere, sure, as well as
influence from a few others I can dig, but the overwhelming sound is still that metal shit that turns me off. It's cool to me that people are diggin'
this and connecting it to those influences, but it's just not anything I can dig.

It's a big new club on the south side of the immediate downtown area. Nice place, at the outskirts of gentrification so theres all kinds of sketch
mingling with the local yuppies. Theres actually a smaller bar that would fit about 150? packed and then an adjacent larger club thats maybe 1500ish,
I think theres a record store attached too. I went to the bar once for a Vomit show, actually going to see MOD tonight at the club portion. It's
pretty metal/underground friendly...so I don't think it would be hard getting in there for a show but I don't have any contacts with the place. I bet
for an 8ball the Goon could hook it up haha!

No doubt homie.
And Jason, I think me downloading from bigtitsandroundasses.com had a little something to do with that quote seeping through my subconscious.
