I did this saturday and enjoyed it even though I am sick. I drank Guinness and ate some awesome gumbo. THen drank for Guinness at Jhonny Molloy's. Watched old people dance to a crappy band that played some good drinkin tunes.

Guinness Draught I hope. Extra stout is way too stout for me these days. Bought a 4 pack of Tilt beer which has 8% alcohol and caffeine in it. Having at least one of those tonight. Happy St. Patricks Day :P

Guiness in a can poured into a nice big mug at the restaurant and then it was Guinness draught 22oz at the bar. I had 3 at the bar. Went home around 11 p.m. I am getting old.

Yeah, I only drink the Draught from the bottle. I never trust taps.

I never drink bottled Guinness, doesn't taste right to me. Cans are okay, but for me the only way to drink it is off the tap.

I honestly never had a bad guinness. I'm being serious. My fav is from the tap though. I love the look of a tall glass with that beautiful coloured top. And the taste, aaah man I could go for one right now, but its out of the question.

My two favorite beers are Harp and Guinness. I bought both at the liquor store today and will be enjoying some black and tans tonight, along with a great deal of the worlds finest whiskey, Tullamore Dew.

Went to the bar for just a couple of hours but man I'm feeling pretty nice. Did 3 Irish car bombs in short succession and drank some Guinness and Yuengling drafts. Hanging out with good people and drinking fine beer is what St. Patty's day is all about.

I had this Tilt beer tonight which tasted like Sobe + beer. And it was green. Very strange. Full of caffeine and guana(sp?). 8.0% Alc./Vol.

That just sounds like any normal weekend at a bar.

People just use St. Pattys day as an excuse to get drunk and act retarded.

Only I don't go to the bar much. And yes, people abuse St. Patty's Day, but the Irish call those drunkards amateurs.

For me, that's the most suitable meaning because I am not Christian or Catholic and I'm not Irish at all. And I don't embrace the actual meaning of the holiday because quite honestly I could give a fuck that Saint Patrick brought Christianity to Ireland.

I remember having a good laugh at the bar last year when I saw a big sikh dude with a massive turban wearing a "kiss me, I'm Irish" shirt. Had me laughing for a good 20 minutes. I thought the guy and his friends were going to kick my ass when I couldn't stop laughing at the sight of the dude wearing that shirt.

I don't need Jesus or Saint Patrick as an excuse to get drunk on a Monday... or the following Tuesday.
