While I hold AF responsible for alot of the roots of NY hardcore, I just think Sick Of it All has had a larger amount of good songs.
I have a SOIA tattoo.
don't laugh I was 17
Plus a few months ago I saw em and they still kicked ass live.
SOIA has my vote.

SOIA hands down. I'm so over AF that it's not even funny. I'll never get rid of my old records of theirs, but there ain't a chance in hell I'll even be checking out anything they put out from here on unless somebody brings it over. That band makes me sad now.

Because AF's put out some disappointing stuff to many and I've heard far fewer complaints with SOIA. I happen to like SOIA's body of work better than AF's as a whole too.

Really, is this serious? SOIA all the way. Both are legendary in my book though. SOIA are better than the Beatles I says.

There's not a SOIA album I don't like, seriously. By a long shot, SOIA wins easily.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.
