man.... I dont want kids to get sick or anything, but that stuff still amazes me. Rain, snow, heat, hurricane, blizzard.... I dont think that

phila schools dont close for shit
once in a while they do the early dismissal thing
i didnt take xavier this morning and im glad i didnt
tomorrow is an early dismissal too because of the heat
i might not take him tomorrow either
most philadelphia schools have no a.c.
thats fuckin retarded to have kids have to sit in that shit

I can't remember if we ever had 90+ degree heat during school, but I was never let out early because of heat. The schools in my town, besides the
high school, didn't have AC either. I can remember some really hot days where the teacher would turn the lights off in order to try to cool the
classroom down... which didn't do shit.

My kid has half days all week cause its the last week of school.
the older i get, the less tolerance i have for the weather.

if it was snowing like crazy we got out early. heat never got us out. we had to sweat our asses off.

Man most my schools in elementary had no ac. We jsut sat and toughed it out.
For ht erecord I wouldnt want my kid doing it but that how it was when I was young. Our teachers jsut said sit sitll and be quiet. Don't exert energy
and you won't get hot.
