from last night.

This girl Britney is amazing.
She just started doing a few songs with them. Good things are sure to come with her on stage.
Not only cause she's hot either.

OK. I got to say that was very bad ass. My father is a huge Stones fan and I got to say even he would like this. I'll play it for him tomorrow.

Are they recording this on a release too?

At 4:29 into the song I am happy to hear they fucking break the song down just as the Stones did too. Fucking awesome.

Not a Stones fan in any way, shape, or form, but that was really good.

Nicely done. I'd love to see them do that live, actually, I would just love to see them live, period. Haven't even seen the Ducky Boys in many years now, I don't even wanna think about how long ago the last time was. It would have been nice to have better sound (and video) quality, but I'll take what I can get. That girl's got some pipes on her.

Yeah, the quality does suck, but exactly, you got to take what you can get.

As anyone who's seen Mark on stage knows, he's an awesome front man. Hell, if he sucked I wouldn't bother going to almost every show they have.
(though I have said to him "So, you guys sucked tonight huh?")

Wow. Furly, we should hire you to run our street team.

There is some additional news related to this video: we paid $20 and the Mid East recorded us. Not off the board like some clubs do. They have a remote recording facility hidden away upstairs in the ticket office. So I have a CD of this show that is virtually release quality. Maybe this could appear online or as a hidden track down the road.

Personally I'm not a fan of recording covers on albums even though I've done it a few times. I think its kind of a waste of space. But I can tell you that we have early plans of having The Unloved back Brittany up on her first demo. We'll probably do that over the summer. And that will include a cover of "Me and Bobby McGee" from what we're looking at now.

This situation needs to be remedied. Are you not familiar with their stuff or just not your cup of tea?

I hated them up until about 1999 when I realized what I was missing. Then I jumped balls deep into their catalog and got their logo inked on my arm. Let me know if you'd like to get a nice mix of some of their stuff.

There have been a couple of songs from the Stones I enjoyed over the years, but for the most part just ain't my thing. I like a lot of old rock but for some reason have always hated the Stones and the Beatles. I prefer the rock of the fifties to that of the sixties. MC5 and the Stooges ruled the sixties for me.

Fair enough. If you ever decide you want to give them another chance then let me know and I'll send you up a mix cd or something.

honestly, i'm not a huge stones fan either. a few of their songs are good but as far as british groups in the 60's went, i prefer the beatles and the who.

Spent a few hours editing the live recording from that show last night. Mark, I'll have a cdr for you next time I see you. The sound quality is surprisingly good.
