reptilian records

those near PHILLY or BALTIMORE. What is the story with this place. I had a issue with them about a EBAY purchase and they seem to have corrected it but then I bought anotehr thign from them and I had to paypal them to a personal email account. Is this place a kick ass record store like they appear to be? THinking of asking them if they have the SOIA stuff I want by calling them on the phone.

Ya I know. I've been to the site and called him last night about this transaction. I just wanted to see what there rep was like in those parts. Seems like a kick ass record store. Plus if everyhting was cool with this slae I will call them about that SOIA stuff.

reptilian is the record store in baltimore.
they've been there forever.
even put out releases as reptilian records.
i've never had any online dealings with them, but in my experience, the people there are great.

When I lived in Baltimore I was in that place at least twice a week. It seems to have grown a hell of a lot in the 13 or so years since I was there, but aside from dealing with them about their releases I know nothing current about them. They've always been cool in my book though. They would even set aside records they got in that they thought I might like after I had been going there for a little while.

Yeah, when we lived in Baltimore they where the 'cool' place to go for your punk/HC needs but we where too lazy to go all the way down to Fells point from Cockeysville so we only made it there a few times in the seven years we lived there.. The dude who owned it, Chris (I think), seemed like a good dude. You should be fine dealing with them.

I just talked to a guy from there today and ya I hav eto say they sound like the kind of store you want to live near. Nice people that are not arrogant but do know there shit. It did sound like they are not doing to well though because of the economy. Thats what the guy said. Not sure what that means but for going strong for 15+ years you hate to see something as apparently cool as that place to have problems. Kind of sucks.

They closed in fells point over a year ago, and moved right next to the ottobar (a great venue/bar in charles village). The store is still great, and chris is a really awesome guy.
I def go there often, and will continue too.

LOL....I didn't know they moved up there....I haven't been to the store since maybe '03. I used to live/work down the street to where they moved to so that's pretty funny...21218...LOL
