Designers and/or label people
talk to whoever is doing it, it can be done with any of those, but it will more than likely be converted to a CAD .dxf or .dwg file. They will let you
know if vector is preferred, or if they can convert it easy enough.

I cant find pictures of any etched vinyl, but I've seen some that are pretty involved desigs. The Less Than Jake 'Rock & Roll Pizzaria' 7" is etched
pretty cool.
