BLACK SPOT seem pretty good. Never heard em b4 but they sound really good.

I gotta check out some of these bands. Some bands to add to the list (though I don't have their links handy):

Far From Finished
Everybody Out
Confront
Jason Bennett & The Resistance

I agree with Mark. All cool bands.

BTW we were added to the Everybody Out show at Harper's Ferry. We're psyched.

Good punk/HC/oi shows coming up. Check out http://myspace.com/refuseresistband

Let me know who you check out and what you think, especially about the RI bands. I'm always curious what other people think!

Vital Remains fucking rules, man! the last record is one of the best albums ever, I've heard it like a million times and never get tired of it, but now that Dave Suzuki is out, I'm afraid there's really few chances of hearing another piecer of art like Icons Of Evil... Tony Lazaro is a great musician, but Suzuki's solos and lead won't be easily replaced, fuck, he even recorded drums on most of the tracks, and they have a video of him recording it on their myspace because most people think it's a drum machine playing on that track... I do expect more great albums to come, but hardly one greater than Icons Of Evil...

Same shit that will happen with Brain Drill (for those of you who don't know them and are into death metal and grindcore, this a must: http://www.myspace.com/braindrill), 2 absolutely fucking great records: 1 demo cd and 1 full album, but now that Marco Pitruzzella is no longer playing drums for them, they'll have to search for a very long time before finding another drummer that's even close to him...
