applying for a job question.

It's for the city and they only give a P.O.Box address and are only asking for resume. I can't drop it off in person. What is the best way to send it. Yes, I know mail, but what should I place the resume in. One of those minila folders or is there another more protectable sleeve or thing to send it in that looks respectable. I thought a cardboard box, but ya know. :wink1:

Seriously is there something specifically for this kind of thing?

how about a priority mail envelope. It will cost a couple of extra dollars to send, but the priority envelopes are free and they are cardboard.

use a large, flat envelope. priority mail style.

the point of the resume is to put your most professional presentation possible, and forcing an employer to unfold and smooth out creases doesn't cut it. of course, going to a PO Box, it might get bent anyway.

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

I am a Recruiter. This is the best way to go. If it wasn't a PO Box, I would suggest using Fedex. That will get their atention.

You'll probably seperate yourself from about 80% of the pack, before they even open the envelope.

Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?
